I’ve passed the half way mark in the 12 in 2011 Challenge! A few days ago I cast off and wove in the ends of my Tadpole Socks.

I like these socks, but I think the yarn would have been better for a non-sock project. It’s largely bamboo (not sure how much exactly), so it doesn’t have much stretch to it. Additionally, the stitch pattern pulls the fabric in a bit, so really I should have cast on 4 stitches more than I normal to compensate.  With the gusset heel they get over my heels & ankles, but they aren’t as comfy as my wool socks.
